Emily Kappes is a 21-year-old California native pursuing a degree in Journalism, with a focus in marketing communications,
and Art History at Northwestern University.
With extensive experience with digital marketing campaigns, copywriting, branding and social analytics, she is passionate about developing digital and creative strategies that not only create impactful experiences for customers, but drive traffic and promote brand engagement.
This summer, Ms. Kappes is working as a social media marketing intern at Sleepy Jones and Paul Kasmin. Previously, Ms. Kappes served as a gallery intern at Gagosian Gallery's W. 24th Street location in New York.
Her work has been featured on a variety of online platforms
over the past several years, including Teen Vogue, V Magazine, and Northwestern's fashion and lifestyle publication, STITCH Magazine. Ms. Kappes has also previously organized multimedia collaborations with Stella & Dot and Warby Parker.
In her free time, Ms. Kappes enjoys arranging flowers, navigating art museums sans guidebook & spending time with very fluffy cats.
